Every route, every truck, and every driver operates under the same standard.
Newman Industries operates under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and we hold our own operation to that standard as a floor, not a ceiling. Safety is built into how we schedule routes, maintain equipment, and train drivers — not treated as a separate checklist.
Every driver is vetted through DOT-required qualification standards, including CDL verification, driving record review, and required drug & alcohol testing under FMCSA rules.
All drivers operate under ELD-tracked hours of service. Schedules are built around HOS limits, not the other way around.
Equipment follows a preventive maintenance schedule with pre-trip and post-trip inspections on every run.
Drivers receive orientation training on our routes, equipment, and safety expectations before their first solo run, with refreshers as needed.
We participate in a FMCSA-compliant drug and alcohol testing program, including pre-employment, random, and post-incident testing.
Any safety incident is reviewed to understand what happened and what changes — in training, scheduling, or equipment — would prevent it from happening again.
If safety matters to how you drive, it matters to how we run our company.
